Welcome to Citizens Advice Portsmouth
We here at Citizens Advice Portsmouth are dedicated to keep supporting you during these unprecedented times. To protect both our staff and our customers, however, we have had to make some changes to the way we are delivering our service. We are no longer offering face to face advice, instead we are providing all support via telephone and email.
As you can probably imagine, all our advisors are working extremely hard to assimilate the large amount of information that is changing daily, so please be patient with us. If we cannot answer your query immediately, an adviser will get back to you as soon as possible.
In addition to our usual advice, we are providing support on issues that arise due to Covid-19. You can also check out information provided on our national website: citizensadvice.org.uk

Citizens Advice were chosen to deliver Pension Wise - a free and impartial guidance service from the DWP to help people understand what their choices are and make informed decisions.
The countywide project scheme aims to address the detrimental impact that cold homes, reduced water usage and anxiety due to utility bills can have on people returning home from hospital.
Specially trained Citizens Advice advisers will review patients’ utility bills to ensure they are on the best possible deals and maximising the benefits that utilities have to offer. The advisers will also help patients apply to be on the Priority Services Register – meaning that they will receive additional support should they experience a power cut or water shortage.
